Terms & Conditions

By confirming a reservation and submitting a deposit or full payment to Tour Connection Chile, the client acknowledges and accepts these binding Terms & Conditions. This constitutes the formal contract of service between the passenger and our local agency in San Pedro de Atacama.

All pricing is confirmed at the time of booking. While overall rates are not highly volatile, prices for future, unconfirmed bookings may be adjusted due to shifting operational costs or local regulatory changes.

We require sufficient notice to manage our vehicle fleet and local guides effectively. Our standard cancellation policy is as follows:

• Up to 48 hours before departure: 100% full refund of the tour price.
• 24 to 48 hours before departure: 50% refund or the option to reschedule (subject to availability).
• Less than 24 hours / No-shows: 0% refund. The service is considered rendered.

Tour Connection Chile executes operations using our own private vehicles and professional, certified local guides, ensuring strict safety and high-altitude readiness. Due to the Atacama Desert's unique geography, departures operate on three specific schedules:

• Early Morning: Pre-dawn departures designed to reach thermal fields (e.g., Geyser del Tatio) at sunrise.
• Afternoon: Mid-day circuits for salt flats and lagoons.
• Evening & Night: Astronomical tours operating strictly after nightfall.

Passengers must be ready at their designated central San Pedro de Atacama hotel pickup point exactly 10 minutes prior to the confirmed schedule.

Unless explicitly itemized in a custom all-inclusive package, park entrance fees are NOT included in the base tour price.

Tour Connection Chile prioritizes passenger safety above all else. Excursions may be modified, delayed, or canceled by the agency or local authorities (CONAF, indigenous communities) due to unforeseen Force Majeure events.

• Climatic Events: Altiplanic winter rains, snowstorms, extreme winds, or flash floods.
• Social Unrest: Local or national strikes (paros), road blockades, civil protests, or community gate closures.

Our expeditions take place at extreme altitudes ranging from 2,400 to over 4,300 meters above sea level in highly remote areas of the Atacama Desert and Altiplano.

Passengers are strictly responsible for evaluating their physical fitness for high-altitude travel prior to booking. The agency reserves the right to deny boarding to any passenger exhibiting symptoms of severe alcohol consumption, severe altitude sickness, or behavior that compromises the group.
